Yaxley named Best GP Practice in Peterborough

Lakeside Healthcare at Yaxley has been named the top GP practice in Peterborough according to the latest national GP survey.

83% of respondents described their overall experience of Yaxley as good (an 11% increase on the national result), while 98% found the receptionists helpful, compared to 82% nationally. A total of 81% found it easy to get through to the practice by phone, compared to just 53% nationally while 83% said the healthcare professional they saw or spoke to was good at giving them enough time during their last GP appointment.

The survey, which was conducted on behalf of NHS England took place between January and April this year. Wansford and Old Fletton surgeries, which are in same South Peterborough Primary Care Network as Yaxley, were also named in the top four surgeries in Peterborough.
